- Write the responses against ADB's operating model specifically. A generic multilateral-bank answer is visible immediately.

Written assessment
DecemberOur analysisA timed written exercise testing analytical reasoning applied to a development case.
What is published
- The exercise is case-based rather than a general aptitude test.
How to prepare — our advice
- Practise structuring a recommendation under time pressure. Most candidates run out of time before reaching one.
- 03
Panel interview
January to FebruaryOur analysisA panel drawn from operations departments, covering technical depth and motivation.
What is published
- Panels usually include staff from the departments likely to host a rotation.
How to prepare — our advice
- Be able to describe one project you worked on in financial and operational terms in under two minutes.
